The Challenge Intellicup required a comprehensive, centralized management portal (the intelliZone) to bridge and aggregate complex data streams flowing from high-speed beverage dispensing hardware, external APIs, and mobile user applications. The platform needed to cater safely and efficiently to multi-tiered user types—including administrators, agents, merchants, and operators—each requiring distinct operational permissions.

Intellicup required a comprehensive, centralized management portal (the intelliZone) to bridge and aggregate complex data streams flowing from high-speed beverage dispensing hardware, external APIs, and mobile user applications. The platform needed to cater safely and efficiently to multi-tiered user types—including administrators, agents, merchants, and operators—each requiring distinct operational permissions.
The Approach
Prior to writing a single line of code, we focused heavily on meticulous User Experience (UX) planning and intuitive interface design. The strategy centered on transforming dense, multi-source telemetry and transactional data into an accessible, streamlined platform capable of handling complex administrative workflows without overwhelming the user.
The Execution
Engineered collaboratively through our specialized tech partnership with Elemental using PHP, CodeIgniter, MySQL, HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery, we built the custom intelliZone platform, developed robust internal APIs for cross-system communication, and implemented secure database architecture for virtual wallet tracking and remote device management.
